Please review our Partisan Guest Code of Conduct: Outlines rules and expected behavior for guests acting independently as citizens and being accountable for any information shared. It also provides ground rules for how Guests must be treated and how guests must act while participating within our forum.
This is a special place in our website is designed to be a release for those partisan tensions that can be so hard to keep bottled up with an inter-dependence we have with our parties. Even those of us grieving our divorces because our party changed without us and started caring more about what other people thought than what we did and we are still a little bitter.
Many, not all, of the party platforms have remained largely consistent however, the agenda that is pushed is often contrary to why we first aligned ourselves with a party identity. Many of us, I'm sure still largely define ourselves by that political identity when questioned, only it is prefaced with "former" or "ex" before we are comfortable wedding ourselves to another platform. So this is a place for us to vent our partisan frustrations against the parties and not each other. It's a place where you can invite guests to participate because you are interested in finding consensus or a coalition for cause, not a relationship.
Check our "Our Party Guests" for the public info we have available on the parties that are courting your support. Hopefully a few of their loyal followers will keep their blogs updated so we know what they think is important and listen to their ideas. We can agree with the parties because we believe they are on the right side, not because they have earned back our trust and loyalty.

There are 3 types of sparring matches from which to choose your battleground. May honor and justice be at your side and the facts be at your back!
